Spring Region VI Manpower and Supply Sign-Up
Senators-
We need your help and your material donations to make our Region VI
meeting successful!
Click on this link to SignUp.com (http://signup.com/go/fuNxFwb)
to see the four different sign-up lists:
- Region VI Spring Boards item donation – We need veggie trays, wheat thins, meatballs, and many more items for hospitality OK, we also need some monetary donations, too. Either way, select the item(s) you would like to provide to make out Region VI meeting a smashing success! (Donations can be made by sending your check to Sharon Leppla, 1625 N Garden St., New Ulm, MN 56073-1533. And note that although certain donation levels are listed in the SignUp form, do not feel constrained by those amounts…Feel free to send a check to MN JCI Senate for $10,000!)
- Manpower for Region VI Spring meeting – Yes, we need people to volunteer their time to unload, setup, restock, and serve, just to name a few of the duties. Grab a job and make it a great time for all of our guests!
- Region VI Bar manpower – Have a great time serving drinks to your fellow Senators from around the region (nation/continent/world…You just never know who might show up!) And, I have it on good authority that workers will be allowed to keep their whistle wet…Um…that was “wet”, not “drowned”… 🙂
- Beverages needed for the bar – Make sure we have the best stuff to serve at the bar! There’s a whole list of fabulous libations to quench the thirsts of all attendees. Don’t want to go to a liquor store? We need mixers too! Don’t see something you want to bring on the list? Bring it anyway! (BTW, I have it on good authority that your bartenders for Saturday night from 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM would be absolutely thrilled if you brought some Schell’s Oktoberfest and some Samuel Smith’s Organic Chocolate Stout for them…Just sayin’…)
As a “footnote” to the beverage sign-up…Some of the items are listed in general (“vodka”, “gin”). We have some great distilleries here in Minnesota, so might I suggest you go the extra yard and purchase a locally-crafted item? For example, Norseman Distillery makes the finest vodka I’ve ever had. Wander North, I am told, makes a great Corn Whiskey and Applejack. Tattersall Distillery has recently partnered up with MIA to recreate recipes of old, and it’s on my list of “places I will be going to soon”. There are MANY others out there – Go find one, and bring a bottle to the meeting! Promote Minnesota!
OK…You’ve reached the end…Now go to SignUp.com and sign up already! THANKS!
