A JCI Senatorship is the highest honor which can be bestowed upon a current or past member by Junior Chamber International for outstanding service to the organization. It provides a unique means for recognizing a member’s outstanding achievements. This recognition may be given to any local Junior Chamber member in appreciation of services rendered at any level of the organization, and is subject to the approval of the local, state, and national Presidents. Note, however, that current local members must have a minimum of five years of membership before they may be nominated for a JCI Senatorship.
The process for nominating an individual for the JCI Senatorship is as follows:
- Download and complete the application. Please note the following items
- Page 1: Complete all sections thoroughly. Be sure to include the preferred date of the formal presentation.

Tip: The physical application you submit will become part of the portfolio the recipient receives; we do not reprint anything, as the form contains signatures that are best presented as signed. Therefore, completing the form on-line and then printing out in color will create the most professional appearance.
Optional “Upgrade”: A recipient of the JCI Senatorship recognition is automatically a member of the MN JCI Senate organization for one year. After the first year, membership dues are $25 per year to retain the rights and privileges of membership in the MN JCI Senate. We also offer “Life Memberships” for a one-time payment of $250. This bestows the rights and privileges of membership in the MN JCI Senate organization for the life of the member without haveing to pay additional dues. You can “upgrade” the recipients membership to “Life” status by including a fourth check in the amount of $250 made payable to “MN JCI Senate”. Please add the notation “Life Dues – (name of applicant)” to the check.
